Privacy policy
This policy explains how CompareAxis ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit compareaxis.com and its pages (the "Site") or call a phone number shown on the Site.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. If a page asks you questions, such as whether you currently have insurance, we receive your answers. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, account numbers or payment details on the Site.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to do this, including advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel and analytics tools.
Phone calls
When you call a number on the Site, our call-tracking provider and the partner who answers may collect your phone number, the time and length of the call, your approximate location based on your phone number, and the page you called from. Calls may be recorded for quality, training and compliance purposes.

How we share information
- Partners you choose to contact. When you call a number or follow a partner link, information about that call or click is shared with the partner, which may include licensed insurance agents, agencies, providers and other marketing companies.
- Service providers. Companies that host the Site, track calls, provide analytics, or deliver and measure ads for us.
- Advertising platforms. Platforms such as Meta receive information through pixels and cookies to measure ads and show you ads. Under some state laws this may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. See your choices below.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect our rights, users or others.
- Business transfers. If CompareAxis is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Your choices
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.
- Interest-based ads: you can adjust ad preferences in your Meta account settings and opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
- Calls: you are never required to call. If a partner contacts you and you do not want further contact, tell them to stop and they should honor it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We will verify your request before acting on it, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
Children
The Site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party sites
Partner websites and the companies you speak with by phone have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, so please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
