About us
About CompareAxis
CompareAxis helps people compare insurance, home services and everyday money products without the sales pitch. We explain how things work, put the options side by side, and are upfront about how we get paid.
What we do
Buying insurance, signing a solar contract or choosing a way out of debt can be confusing, and the people selling these products are not always the best ones to explain the trade-offs. Our guides cover how each product works, what it costs to keep, what is usually excluded, and the questions worth asking before you sign.
When you are ready to shop, some of our pages connect you with providers, agents or comparison partners by link or by phone.
What we are not
CompareAxis is an independent information and marketing service. We are not an insurance company, agency or broker, a lender, a bank, a debt relief provider, or a financial, legal or tax advisor. We do not issue policies, make credit decisions or handle your money. Our content is general information and cannot account for your personal situation.
How we make money
CompareAxis is free to use. We may earn a fee when you click a partner link, call a phone number on our site, or get a quote or sign up with a partner. This compensation can influence which partners appear on our site and where. It does not change the facts in our guides. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
Our editorial standards
- Accuracy first. We explain products using publicly available information from regulators, government agencies and product disclosures, and we update guides when rules change.
- No made-up numbers. We do not publish savings claims, star ratings or rankings we cannot support, and we do not invent reviews or testimonials.
- Trade-offs included. Every option has downsides. We try to name them plainly.
- Corrections. If you spot an error, tell us on our contact page and we will review it.
